DIA line of rugs is awarded prestigious Red Dot 2008 prize in the Red Dot Museum in Essen. DIA rug is rooted in the realm of traditional design. Folk motifs are innovatively intertwined through joyful and contrasting compositions all drawing off the wellspring of Polish folk art. The colourful sound of tradition comes right on cue. The_mohohej!DIA received one of the most prestigious awards in Europe – the Wallpaper* award for ‘The Best Textile’. This rug comprises the finest wool from New Zealand due to its long, full and elastic fibers. In order to create a woven felt structure, we have restored an old Polish method; woven on looms of traditional yarn, it undergoes the process of felting. The woven felt is cut with a laser before being glued into many layers. Our technology of making woven felt rugs and carpet production is patent pending. Our carpets are refined, soft, and resistant to abrasion. Being of compact structure, it hardly absorbs any dust and is water repellent. Available in single, dual or triple woven felt layers.
