Almost all designers are “archetype hunters”. This activity is particularly difficult in the field of chairs. Seida, the name of this chair, born out of the misspelling of the Italian word Sedia, explores the concept of chair in its simplicity and absolute essentialism. Without becoming minimalist, the chair is rich in details enhancing the overall perceptive experience while keeping a familiar and discrete look.

"The combination of beauty and function": this has been the Pianca philosophy throughout history. Pianca was established in 1946 in Gaiarine, in the heart of one of the main Italian industrial districts and the home of “Made in Italy” furniture. Through time, Pianca has stayed true to its core values: a search for a “pure design”, flexibility in production, and devotion to quality and service.
