The secret of this horizontal bookcase lies in the masterful blend of composition solutions which render it a unique piece each time: large-size horizontal shelves exude strong personality and can be alternated with vertical elements of varying thickness and materials, for infinite solutions. The decision not to use side panels enhances the freshness of a composition born to break the mould. It can be designed with standing, suspended, wall-hung or doublesided solutions. Backs are also available in wood, marble and texture, each bestowing a distinctive character and identity upon the product. Light is masterfully concealed behind the thick sides, or illuminates the grills from the bottom up, creating a unique and discrete ambience
Designer Information
Turati T4 began business in the 1960s, in an area called Brianza, about 20 km north of Milan; where many of Italy’s major furniture manufacturers are located. In 1990, in conjunction with architect Martino Perego, the TRIPLO program saw the light. This was distinguished by strong compositional flexibility to cater to the needs of designers and interior decorators. It is in recent years that the product identity has become increasingly more associated with technological innovation interpreting the requirements of home living areas.
