Like an image of a pond strangely floating overhead, ACQUA thrills with breath-taking beauty, capturing every onlooker with the serene movement of the water-like waves carved on its crystal skin. From below, one can see the remarkable Murano craftsmanship; from the fluid movements carved on the glass, the small ripples of the "surface" that echoes movement from the fish that swims right through it, and perhaps the most astounding of all, is the glorious imagery of fish, as reflected by the lights and shadows running through its symphonic facet. The suspension light hangs on thin yet enduring wires almost invisible to the eyes, so one can only focus on the sublime aquatic landscape portrayed in blown glass. The entire piece is wrapped in a metal frame and a bronze-finish canopy and is lit by a LED system which can be available in RGB white.
Designer Information
Through precious lessons from the tradition of the family glassworks established in the 40s, the industrial glass, with its linear essentiality, is enriched and warmed by shapes and colours that always refer to the inexhaustible heritage of the Venetian handicraft, with intelligence and creativity, giving life to a product unique of its kind. The first that used the Murano massive glass as a base for its tables, Reflex has always been using high-quality materials, such as glass, marble, forged iron, and wood, applying new contrasts and technological processes on the cutting edge, with a craft mastery.
